We’ve been busy this spring adding new features to help you write more and stay motivated. From AI chapter summaries to visual inspiration and our new affiliate program, here’s what’s new on WritingHabit:

• Affiliate Program for Writers
  Want to earn by sharing your favorite writing app? With the new WritingHabit affiliate program, you can refer other writers and earn 20% of their subscription payments for the first 12 months. To join, just make sure you have an active subscription. That way, you can share real experiences and keep up with the latest updates. Share your custom link and start earning while helping fellow writers discover WritingHabit.

• Visual References
  Now you can add visual images directly into your planning documents. Whether it’s a character image, setting reference, world map, or mood board, visual references help you stay inspired and organized.

• AI Chapter Summaries (Pro Subscribers)
  Forget scrolling back to remember what happened three chapters ago. Pro subscribers can now generate quick summaries of any chapter (500 to 7,000 words) with AI. The summaries appear in your outline view, including the chapter summary and plot points, so you can track characters, plot threads, and events without breaking your writing flow.

  Note: This feature uses Google’s Gemini model and is currently in beta. It works once per chapter and doesn’t retain past data, so results may vary depending on context.

• Weekly Writing Prompts
  Looking for a creative spark? Every Monday, we add five new writing prompts designed to help you write something fresh and fun. Each prompt starts its own project, so your progress is automatically tracked. You can access prompts from your dashboard and return to any of them later.
